Stena Line's main routes and fleet

Yearly Stena Line ferries make up to 25,000 trips on 17 major routes. In 2019, the company's ferries transported more than 7 million passengers and 1.5 million vehicles between ports in Northern Europe, Great Britain and Ireland. The company has divisions in Great Britain, Ireland, and transports passengers and vehicles to Denmark, Ireland, France, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Poland, Latvia and Great Britain.

The company's fleet is continuously updated and currently includes 37 large Ro-Ro ferries amongst which there are real giants with a displacement of over 62,000 tones. The company pays a great deal of attention to safety of operations and all vessels are Lloyd's Register-certified.

All of the company's ferries have a high level of comfort that approaches the level of a cruise liner. Aboard the ferries there are cabins of different classes, duty free stores, restaurants, bars, game salons for children, video salons, SPA-salons. Internet access is available to passengers offshore away from the shore. Open and covered decks allow for all-weather maritime views and sunbathing in sunny weather.

Important Notes for Travelers

The company recommends booking early, especially during the summer season. Pets on flights through the Irish Sea can be transported free of charge in the car or in the kennel, but a pet passport and microchip are required, and certificates of vaccination may be required. Keep in mind that the number of places in the on-board kennel is limited. On flights to France pets cost 30 euros. Pets are not allowed in the cabins.
