Red Star Ferries has been operating ferries between Italy and Albania for several years. The company's ships also operate between Brindisi and Vlora. You should take into account that the voyages take place not more than three times a week, so the tickets should be booked in advance: in high season 1-2 weeks before the trip, at other times – one day before the trip.

The trip from Brindisi to Zakynthos takes 19 hours and runs once a week. From Brindisi to Sami (and back) it takes 15 hours. The flight is operated once a week. The trip from Brindisi to Saranda takes almost 11 hours, but there is only one flight per week.
