Strömstad — a small historic town in western Sweden, located on the shore of the Skagerrak Strait near the Norwegian border. In the 17th and 18th centuries, the city was often the scene of Danish-Swedish wars, in which Norway was periodically involved. Port of Stromstad

The port of Stromstad consists of two sections. Ferries of local lines connecting the city with the nearest islands depart from the pier in the center of the city. The international lines' ferry pier is on the outskirts of the city, and there are shipping company offices, a bus stop and a train station near the pier. The access roads to the pier are excellent, and there is a large parking lot nearby. There is a bar and restaurant near the parking lot, small hotels, a medical center and an art gallery near the port.
