Cadiz – historic city and important port of Spain on the Atlantic coast near the entrance to the Strait of Gibraltar. The city is located on an island, which is connected to the mainland by a causeway and the Jose Carranza and Constitución 1812 bridges. Cadiz's port can be reached from the small airport of Jerez &ndash, the homeland of the famous wines, which is 40 km from Cadiz, or from Seville International Airport – it is 130 km from Cadiz and takes approximately 1,5 hours.

The port's infrastructure is well-developed to accommodate heavy passenger and car traffic. Near the terminal there are many local attractions, hotels, restaurants, stores, just 500 meters away is the central Cathedral of Cadiz.
