Ferry Sunflower – a Japanese ferry company providing connections between the southern island of Kyushu, the island of Shikoku and the largest island of the Japanese archipelago – Honshu. The company is one of the subsidiaries of Mitsui OSK Lines, a holding company for ferry services throughout Japan. Ferry Sunflower's fleet and ferry lines

The Ferry Sunflower fleet consists of large roll-on roll-off ferries with a displacement of about 15,000 tons. All vessels are extremely comfortable. There are comfortable cabins in various classes, stores, restaurants, spas and saunas with swimming pools, children's playgrounds on board.

The main lines of Ferry Sunflower – Osaka-Shibushi (Kagoshima), Osaka-Beppu, Kobe-Oita. The first line is the longest, the ferry departs in the evening and arrives in the morning, with a travel time of 15-16 hours, the route runs around Shikaku Island through the open Pacific Ocean. The Ferry Sunflower line is the longest.

The Osaka-Beppu flight is also a night flight, with a journey time of about 12 hours. The Kobe-Oita flight is the shortest, taking about 11 hours. The routes of these two flights run through the strait between the islands of Shikaku and Kyushu, and passengers have the opportunity to admire not only the ocean expanse, but also the scenery of the mountainous Japanese islands. Important Notes for Travelers

Ferry Sunflower Ferry ticket prices are markedly seasonal, as are discounts. The system of discounts offered by the company is quite extensive. The basic discount is called «Fune ni Tomaro» it provides a return to destination within 30 days including the date of departure, but in high season this discount is not valid. A 10% discount on round-trip tickets and a 20% discount for students are offered. All purchases aboard the ferry are payable in cash. Tickets for ferries should be purchased in advance – then the discount «Go To Travel Campaign» is valid.
