There are many ferry connections from Ancona to the coastal countries of the Adriatic Sea: Greece (Igoumenitsa, Patras, Corfu), Albania (Durres), Croatia (Split).

Port of Ancona

Historically, the city of Ancona developed around the port, so there are many sights nearby: the Plebiscite Square, the archaeological museum, the Arch of Trojan. There are also many hotels of different classes, stores and restaurants. Next to the port is a small parking lot and a charging station for electric cars.
